The Pregnancy Loss Research Group (PLRG) at University College Cork conducts research to improve understanding, care, and outcomes related to pregnancy loss. The work of the PLRG focuses on generating high-quality data, informing clinical practice, supporting policy development, and producing accessible resources for healthcare professionals and the public.

The PLRG collaborates with clinicians, researchers, experts-by-experience and other knowledge users to address gaps in knowledge and to promote consistent, evidence-informed approaches to care. The Group’s outputs include research publications, educational materials, and guidance that contribute to improved services and support systems.
