This October, support cerebral palsy research

Throughout October, we are shining a light on INFANT’s research to improve the early detection and early intervention of cerebral palsy (CP).

Research is already changing what is possible for children with cerebral palsy and their families — helping to identify babies at risk much earlier and exploring how earlier, targeted intervention can support children during a critical stage of their development.

All donations made to INFANT during October will support our cerebral palsy research, helping us build on this progress and continue improving the future of care for children with CP and their families.

The INFANT Research Centre at University College Cork works to improve the health of mothers, babies, and children through research. Our work includes identifying risks in pregnancy, protecting the developing brain, and improving children’s long-term health and development. Every discovery we make is driven by one goal: giving every baby, child, and family the healthiest possible start to life.

Your support helps INFANT accelerate research, invest in the next generation of researchers, develop innovative technologies, and translate discoveries into real improvements in healthcare.
