Clubs and Groups

Creating Connections

UCC has a diverse alumni population of over 200,000 individuals with broad-ranging interests. We want to help alumni connect with others who share their enthusiasms and passions. Networks of alumni who would like to form an association based on a common area of interest such as sporting, academic, professional or cultural affiliation are invited to establish a UCC club or shared interest group.

New alumni clubs and shared interest groups must be approved by a majority vote of the Alumni Board. Clubs and shared interest groups will operate with a large degree of autonomy and will also receive support from Alumni and Development. Please contact us if you would like to find out more.

Alumni Volunteers

We recently launched our new Alumni Volunteer handbook for Alumni Representatives, Chapters, Clubs and Groups:

Are you planning to hold an event as a volunteer, such as a Chapter gathering? Please download and complete the  Events and Activities Risk Assessment template. This template must be submitted to the office of Alumni and Development in advance of all events and activities organised by volunteers. Once complete, please email a completed copy to  alumni@ucc.ie.
