Jean O'Callaghan brings extensive experience in event management, having worked across both the public and private sectors. With a strong background in organising and executing large conferences, she has successfully led events from concept to completion, ensuring smooth operations and impactful experiences.

Before joining UCC Academy, Jean worked at Deloitte, leading the marketing, communications, and event management efforts for the company's regional offices. She also gained valuable experience in marketing and public relations through her roles at Dairygold and Murray Consultants.

Jeans works with UCC Academy and is responsible for delivering  event management services and supporting the university’s mission to disseminate research. Her work at Conference UCC has focused on accelerating university conference ambassadors to host high-profile conferences on the UCC campus, strengthening the institution’s global academic presence.
