Donna O'Regan
Donna O’Regan is a programme and operations management professional with extensive experience in managing diverse teams to deliver donor funded projects in development and emergency contexts.
Donna has worked to support communities in challenging environments including Iraq, Laos, Myanmar, Sierra Leone and India for over ten years. She has worked with UN agencies, local NGOs and international humanitarian agencies on themes including development education, support to civil society, governance, communication for development, climate change and road safety. In recent years she focussed on Armed Violence Reduction, advocating for the rights of those living in landmine affected areas, improving community safety and ensuring livelihoods for survivors.
Donna joined UCC Academy in May 2022. She worked with the School of Law on Internationalisation and is currently supporting the Department of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy on the first European Joint Doctoral programme in that field. She has also supported the Academy’s Business Support team on contracting and process management.
Donna holds a bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from University College Cork and a master’s degree in Development Studies from University College Dublin.
