UNIC Conference - 11th June 2021

On June 11, UNIC (European University of Post-Industrial Cities) will answer what it means to be a European University, and more, as it hosts its latest conference, Regenerating our Post-Industrial Cities: the Role of Universities.

This one-day event aims to bring together the entire UNIC community, with UNIC staff, students, associate partners, and the public invited to participate.

The conference, which will be held via Zoom, will introduce UNIC and provide a brief overview of its ambitions and achievements. A series of 40- and 50-minute sessions throughout the day will also explore topics such as the future of European Higher Education and the challenges facing post-industrial cities.

The event will feature panellists from several of the other UNIC partner universities, including the University of Liège, Koç University, Ruhr University Bochum, University of Zagreb, and Erasmus University Rotterdam.

The conference will take place on Friday, 11 June from 12noon to 4pm (Irish time). Attendance is free, and you can register through this link (https://eur-nl.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_-Zpn1sVhSBqTBN44TTTgYA).
