Division 1 played against Cork Harlequins in the Munster League final. It was a disappointing end for the students who went down to the Quins side 3-0. This win claimed the League and Cup double 2023/24 for the Cork Harlequins team. However UCC’s promotion to EYHL1 will soften the blow as this was the number 1 goal for the season.

 

From the low to the high of the Division 3 side who played in the Munster Division 3 Cup final on Sunday against C of I. This UCC side have improved no end over the season and capped it off with a 4-1 win in the final. Goals came from Kirsten Brown (2), Laura Barr and Claire Jermyn. 

 

Although a very successful season for the club, with 2 teams promoted and high placings in the respective leagues, the Div 3 Cup was the only silverware for the club this season. 

 

A great end to a great season. 

 

A big thank you to all the players for their commitment and hard work over the season. Thank you to our team coaches Dave, Phil, Patrick, Mark, John, Reece and managers Colette, Irene, Jill, Rhona and Róisín for their time and commitment to UCC Hockey.
