Women’s Health Taskforce Webinar | Recurrent Miscarriage Matters: Evidence to inform policy & practice

In September 2022, Professor Keelin O’Donoghue, Dr Daniel Nuzum and Marita Hennessy delivered an hour-long webinar to the Women's Health Taskforce titled ‘Recurrent Miscarriage Matters: Evidence to inform policy & practice’ based on findings from the RE:CURRENT Project.

Topics discussed included:

  • Overview of miscarriage and recurrent miscarriage – prevalence, causes, physical, psychological and social, economic, management & outcomes
  • Current service provision in Ireland – opportunities for improvement
  • A proposed model of care, including a new national clinical guideline

The Women’s Health Tasforce was established by the Department of Health to improve women’s health outcomes and experiences of healthcare in September 2019.
