The MMedSc (Sport and Exercise Medicine) is a part-time programme running for 18 months over two years from the date of first registration for the programme. Classes are held on Fridays and Saturdays over 12 weekends per year; exceptional events such as Faculty of Sports Medicine meetings may be included at course coordinator discretion. A research project is submitted at the end of Year 2. The programme is cyclical in nature.

Students take 90 credits

SX6001 Sports Injuries I: Clinical (20 credits)
SX6002 Exercise, General Health and Sports Medicine (20
credits)
SX6003 Sport and Exercise Medicine: Scientific Principles (20
credits)
SX6004 Research Project (30 credits)
