Entry to the College

Candidates for admission to each of the above programmes should satisfy the minimum entry requirements and specific programme/subject requirements as set out here in the General Information section of the Calendar. Applicants for the Nursing programmes who have not satisfied the normal entry requirements may, on the recommendation of College, enter on the grounds of mature years.

Special Entry for Medical/Dental Graduates*

*Subject to place availability.

Dental graduates wishing to be considered for admission to Medicine beyond First Year should apply in writing to the Admissions Office, University College Cork. The closing date for application is 1st March each year. Late applications cannot be considered.
