The School of Film, Music and Theatre is a place of ground-breaking creative learning and experimentation that promotes parity of esteem for theoretical and practical teaching, research and practice. Our School nurtures the ambitions of all who walk through its doors, and produces the most innovative, pioneering research and analysis of creative practice across disciplines in Ireland.

CineSalon Experimental Film Festival 2026 A festival celebrating personal, poetic and formally experimental filmmaking

The festival is divided into two strands, with both in-person events and eight online programmes. The latter will be available for streaming between September 12th and 28th from the festival's website. Screenings in person will take place at the Sirius Arts Centre, Cobh (Saturday September 12th, 7–10pm) and in the Film and Screen Media Auditorium, Kane Building B10B (Sunday September 13th from 2pm).
