Evan Boyle is the Principal Investigator on Urban Climate Collab and a Senior Postdoctoral researcher with the Sustainability Institute, University College Cork and the Department of Sociology & Criminology. His research focuses on community engagement on energy transitions, transdisciplinary approaches to sustainability, and City-University partnerships for Climate Action.
Catherine McElherron
Catherine McElherron is a PhD researcher with the Department of Sociology & Criminology at UCC. Through the Urban Climate Collab project, Catherine is focused on the theme of connection. Exploring a lack of meaningful climate engagement in Ireland as stemming from disconnect, both between the public and policymakers and in a broader cultural sense, cities are subsequently presented as sites of reconnection with Cork as a case study.
Gerard Mullally
Gerard (Ger) Mullally a senior lecturer in Sociology in UCC and a research associate with the Sustainability Institute, the Cleaner Production Promotion Unit (CPPU) and the Institute for Social Sciences in the 21st century (ISS21) all at UCC. His research specialises in the areas of environment, community, sustainable development, climate change, and transdisciplinarity.
