Course Outline 

This three-day programme will enable you to understand, apply, and critically evaluate behaviour change theories and frameworks in order to design and implement effective, sustainability-oriented interventions within public administration. The programme provides a deep, practical understanding of change - exploring it from experiential, theoretical and skills-based perspectives. You will walk away with: 

• The frameworks to apply behaviour-change for public administration 

• The tools to apply behavioural change in real organisational contexts  

• Examples of practical implementations 

• New skills to apply behavioural change in your own context and objectives. 

Learning outcomes 

• Recognise key behaviour-change theories relevant to sustainability and public administration.
• Understand the main frameworks and toolkits for implementing behaviour-change initiatives in the public sector.
• Apply appropriate theories and frameworks to your own sustainability and behaviour-change challenges.
• Critically analyse how behaviour-change theories support sustainability goals and better decision-making.
• Evaluate behaviour-change issues and select suitable frameworks or approaches for implementation.
• Design and assess a behaviour-change intervention that supports sustainable practices in public administration.

Assessment

Written assignment (2,000 words)

Project Presentation (10 minutes presentation + 5 minutes discussion)
