Multilingual Flashmob against Sexual Violence
Multilingual Flashmob against Sexual Violence
On Monday February 10 members of the School of Languages, Literatures and Cultures joined with colleages from Theatre as well as students from Fem Soc and others to protest against sexual violence and victim blaming. Marching, dancing, squatting, shaking, punching and roaring in 13 different languages, they made our voices heard and expressed solidarity with victims and survivors of sexual and gender-based violence. Our thanks to all colleagues who supported this and, in particular, Nuala Finnegan and CĂ©ire Broderick for organising this multilingual flash mob.
