The  Johnson & Johnson Winning in STEM2D  University Programme aims to fuel development of STEM2D talent pipeline by supporting students at critical points in their careers in STEM2D disciplines.
J&J’s Winning in STEM2D Scholarship programme for the 2026/27 academic year includes mentoring, bursaries, site tours, and a STEMFest on Thursday 12th November in Thomond Park.
Successful candidates will receive:
  • Bursary award €1000
  • J&J industry mentor
  • Site tours
  • Early career and development workshops
Who is eligible to apply?
UCC   undergraduate students of eligible degree programmes entering 2nd, 3rd,   4th and 5th year of their studies in the academic year 2026/27 are eligible to apply.
Applicants must commit to participation in leadership and career development activities, including a STEMFest on the 18 th of November in Thomond Park.
Applicants previously in receipt of a WiSTEM2D bursary in previous years are   not eligible to apply.

How to Apply
Applicants are shortlisted based on their responses to an   application form  which is currently open to submissions.
The closing deadline for applications is  Sunday 4th October at  6 pm.
