The Prize in Foundations of Medicine AnatBioPhys Year 2

The Prize and Certificate will be called "The Prize in Foundations of Medicine AnatBioPhys Year 2" and "The Certificate in Foundations of Medicine AnatBioPhys Year 2" respectively. The Prize will be offered for award annually to the candidate who obtains the highest mark in a Foundations of Medicine AnatBioPhys Year 2 prize examination and the Certificate will be offered for award annually to the candidate who obtains the second highest mark in a Foundations of Medicine AnatBioPhys Year 2 prize examination. The material to be examined in the Foundations of Medicine Year 2 prize examination will be the entire course covered in the First Year Direct Entry Foundations of Medicine modules (FM1010, FM1020, FM1030, FM1040) and Second Year Direct Entry Foundations of Medicine modules (FM2101, FM2102).
Candidates eligible to sit the Foundations of Medicine AnatBioPhys Year 2 prize examination are those registered as Second Year direct entry medical students of University College Cork during the current session, whose aggregate marks are among the top 10% of the class in the following modules: FM1010, FM1020, FM1030, FM1040, FM2101, and FM2102. The Prize and the Certificate will be not awarded unless high merit has been shown. A medal will be awarded for the Prize.
