“The Dr Sinead Kinsella Medal” will be awarded to an intern based in the Intern Network South which is affiliated with the School of Medicine, UCC. The selection will be made based on the adjudication of cases presented by interns. It is anticipated that the selection will take the form of an initial invitation to submit a case, the invitation of a panel of finalists to make a presentation at a special event, and the selection of a winner chosen by a small adjudication panel.
This medal is made possible through a philanthropic contribution in memory of the late Dr Sinead Kinsella. The medal will promote excellence in medical education and healthcare.
