Welcome to the ResilientCrop project site

ResilientCrop is a research project funded by Research Ireland and led by Dr Rossana Henriques to address how climate change will impact Irish agriculture. The increase in temperature, allied to periods of prolonged drought, will affect the growth and development of perennial ryegrass and white clover, two of the most important forage crops in Ireland. ResilientCrop will combine physiology, molecular biology and biochemical approaches to identify the molecular mechanisms providing climate resilience to these crops.
