Medical Imaging and Radiation Sciences (Mammography) is designed to provide you with advanced knowledge and specialised skills in the field of breast imaging and mammographic examinations.
This Mammography pathway combines comprehensive coursework, hands-on training, and clinical experience to equip you with a deep understanding of mammography principles, image acquisition, interpretation, and quality control. You will learn how to perform and analyse mammograms, including digital and advanced imaging techniques, and gain expertise in breast pathology, breast cancer detection, and patient care in the context of mammography.
The Mammography pathway also focuses on advanced topics such as breast imaging research, breast intervention procedures, and emerging technologies in breast imaging. Our graduates will emerge as skilled mammographers, capable of contributing to the early detection and diagnosis of breast cancer, providing compassionate patient care, and making valuable contributions to the field of breast imaging research and advancements.
