Management and Leadership
Medical Imaging and Radiation Sciences (Management and Leadership) is designed to prepare professionals with advanced knowledge and skills in managing radiology departments and leading healthcare teams in the field of radiology.
This Management and Leadership pathway combines a comprehensive curriculum that encompasses topics such as healthcare administration, financial management, quality improvement, human resources, and strategic planning, with a focus on radiological imaging services.

Entry Requirements
Applicants for the Management and Leadership pathway must:
- Have a primary honours degree (NFQ, Level 8), in any discipline
- Provide written evidence of support from their line manager stating:
- that the applicant is in an appropriate role for the entire duration of their course.
- that the applicant will have access to diagnostic or imaging equipment at their workplace.
- details of a suitable ‘named’ clinical mentor
