The School of Mathematical Sciences hosted a Lunar New Year pot luck event for our risk and actuarial sciences students last Thursday the 30th of January. Staff and students celebrated the beginning of the Year of the Snake together with food and fun, and a even a bit of dancing! We were delighted be joined by the Head of the College of SEFS, Professor Sarah Culloty for our event.

The School of Mathematical Sciences were delighted to welcome our incoming BScRAS3 students and BTBU staff from Beijing to Cork this week. They have a busy schedule this week visiting Blarney Castle and going to Kinsale for a traditional Irish music show.

We hope they enjoy their time in Cork!
