On 5 June 2025, the Hub welcomed representatives from Crinkill NS in Offaly and their Erasmus+ partners from Poland and Romania to take part in a European Council simulation on migration. Linguistic skills were a little hurdle overcome by AI and we had a very lively debate on what the EU and Member States are prepared to do on the topic of migration to the EU. 

The Erasmus+ partners as wella s Crinkill NS 5th and 6th classes will carry out the simulation in their class as part of the KA1 ACE project led by Sandra Nolan, principal of Crinkill NS. 

The Hub celebrates Europe Day 2025 in Kilmurry's pre-school and primary school with EU-themed treasure hunts and EU flag activity. Children aged between 4 and 12 years old took part and learnt about the memebr states as much as about the EU club. They also asked many questions about their findings and current issues that they had heard about. It was a day of fun, learning, and celebration!
