Grave monuments, footpaths and roadway near the entrance of the cemetary contain fossils. Go to the Michael Meade family vault directly inside and facing the entrance.

The stone and angel figures carved into the grey limestone contain spectacular fossils. The limestone is extremely rich in crinoid ossicles, brachiopods and corals. The red paving stones nearby are Cork Red Marble, which contains rare to common crinoid ossicles.
