WARNING! This is a rocky coastal location with uneven terrain. Take care as rocks can become slippery when wet. Full access to the rocks containing the fossils at this location is only possible at low tide. Explore the rocks along the coast north of the layby.

Grey limestone along the coast contain trace fossils, visible as branching, straight to meandering lines on bedding surfaces. They are easiest to see where successive beds have different colours, and where burrowing organisms have “piped” sediment from one bed down into the underlying bed.
