Fossil Info
Limestone outcrops to the south have long crinoid stems, dense accumulations of brachiopods, bryozoans, horn corals. The Devonian rocks to the north show sandstones, siltstones and mudstones, with palaeosols (ancient soils) and palm-sized dark circles, trace fossils called Beaconites.
