Undergraduate Programmes
Business is the study of transactions and their outcomes particularly related to trade, financial and commercial activity. We are all affected by business in our daily lives. Business has many subject areas, some include Accounting, Economics, Finance, Law, Management, Management Information Systems (MIS), Marketing and Statistics.
At UCC we aim to provide you with a business education which:
- you will find challenging and stimulating.
- takes employers' needs into account.
- will prepare you for a career in business.
- is industry focussed.
- is based on current research.
- looks to future trends in business.
The Faculty of Commerce provides a range of degree courses aimed at providing you with a business education in your area of interest. The Faculty offers a number of degrees (some are provided jointly with other Faculties). Each degree is developed to give you an insight at national and international level to the subject areas involved. Our aim is to ensure that, whatever your interest in business, there will be a course across our range of degrees suited to you. The continued success of our programmes depends on your success as a graduate.
On this webpage we provide information at three levels of detail. Firstly, it is possible to download the undergraduate brochure above entitled "Study for a Career in Business at UCC" this document gives a general overview of the programmes on offer through the Faculty of Commerce.
