The Cork Geological Association

About the Association

This association, founded in 1992 brings together members of the general public having an interest in earth science with a strong emphasis on geology. It presents an annual programme of lectures and organises field trips to areas of geological interest in the cork area, around Ireland and overseas. Monthly lectures are held in the Enterprise Centre, School of Biological, Earth and Environmental Sciences. Geological fieldtrips and events are organised throughout the year.
