This launch is a celebration of the culmination of the work driven by both editors during their convenorship of the Violence, Conflict and Gender research cluster, and it includes chapters written by other cluster members too. The volume explores the politics, ethics and pitfalls of representational practices surrounding Gender-Based Violence (GBV). It examines how GBV is represented across philosophy/epistemology, fiction and non-fictional media representations and discusses feminism in relation with global trends to identify its cultural frontline.
