This hands-on cadaver course will outline the indications and operative principles of the tonsillectomy & adenoidectomy procedures. Radiofrequency (RF) Ablation will be demonstrated and practiced so that it can be shown that this minimally invasive technique reduces bleeding, results in less post-op pain, and allows a faster recovery. There will be discussion on indications and complications with a concentration on safe airway control.
During this course you will be also taking part in a simulated case scenario to further explore managing a complicated case as a team followed by expert debriefing.
