ASSERT Simulated Ward

The ASSERT Centre features a dedicated five-bed clinical ward equipped with advanced audio-visual technology to support a broad spectrum of clinical training scenarios. Designed for use by undergraduate, postgraduate, and practicing healthcare professionals across all disciplines, the ward accommodates manikin-based simulations, procedural skills training, simulated patient interactions, and small group teaching. Integrated AV systems enable comprehensive recording and playback of sessions, enhancing both formative debriefing and research analysis.

  • A fleet of mobile simulators is also available from neonatal, paediatric to adult manikins, including Laerdal SimMan 3G, CAE HPS and iStan, Gaumard Premie, Neonatal, Paediatric and Obstetric Simulators.
