Postgraduate Tutor/Project Assistant
“BUILDING CHANGE: Designing a resilient future through architecture education”
A Postgraduate Tutor/Project Assistant is sought to provide administrative support for Curriculum Innovation in Cork Centre for Architectural Education related to the HCI funded initiative “BUILDING CHANGE: Designing a resilient future through architecture education” and includes each of the six schools of architecture in Ireland. The project is undertaking a transformative process, reconfiguring and revising the professional curricula in architecture to empower future graduates with the knowledge, skills and the mind-set, to help society address the sustainability challenges encapsulated in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 2030.
Duties of the Postgraduate Tutor/Project Assistant will include:
Organisation of activities in CCAE around project meetings, seminars, and workshops.
- Management, recording, and documentation of pathway of development of proposals for Module changes across the CCAE Architecture programme.
- Recording of activities around new Design-Studio pilot projects.
- Facilitating the delivery of new CPD activities through supporting activities.
- Maintaining and recording part-time staff hours associated with project.
- Assisting with the design and production of online project newsletter and social media content.
- Other duties as assigned by the CCAE Director, CCAE Administrator, or Project Leader
Start date: 06 November 2023
End date: 31 March 2025
Duration: 17 months
Rate: €26.16/hour
Weekly: 12 hours/2 days per week
