The Cork Centre for Vitamin D and Nutrition Research has been awarded certification for it's 25(OH)D method in serum by CDC for third year in row.

The Cork Centre for Vitamin D and Nutrition Research has announced that it’s LCMS/MS method for measuring Total 25-hydroxyvitamin D (25(OH) D) in serum has been certified by the CDC's Vitamin D Standardization Program.  This is the third year the centre has achieved this distinction, and as of March 2016, it is one of only four labs worldwide, and the only academic research lab, to be certified three years in a row.  Certification ensures 25(OH) D results generated for the ODIN project are traceable to the highest order reference measurement procedures.
