Day 1 (April 17)

Day 2 (April 18)

09:45 – 10:45    Problem pictures and how to improve them (ERO)

                            – Demonstration of colour calibrated workflow in Photoshop

10:45 – 11:00    Break (coffee available)

11:00 – 12:00    Student presentations (3) (COO/ERO)

12:00 – 12:30    Summary and evaluation (COO/ERO)

 

There are two focus points in the lectures:

1. Digital images and how to work with them in a colour calibrated workflow.

2. Layout and typography in PowerPoint presentations, including inspiration on how to present different kinds of data.

The students will get different kinds of feedback on typography, content and presentation during the different session.

Pre-course task

Each student should prepare a short presentation containing six (6 ± 0) PPT slides. The presentation should take six minutes (sharp!) followed by nine minutes discussion. The focus should be on how to visually present different kinds of data: figures, tables, photographs and written information.

If anybody has problem pictures they should be sent to ERO before the course to be include in the lecture.
