New researcher joins Ultrasonics Research Group

Wentao Jiang has joined the Ultrasonics Research Group, UCC as a new PhD researcher.

Wentao received his Bachelor’s degree in Communications Engineering from Zhejiang University of Technology (ZJUT) in 2010. In 2012 he received his MSc in Communications Engineering from University of York, England with a thesis on Cognitive Radio for 4G communications. Wentao is currently investigating secure short-range wireless communication using ultrsaound in air. His research interests are in ultrasonic transducers, modulation and encryption schemes. Wentao is supported by SFI Research Frontiers Programme grant 11/RFP/ECE3199.
