Enterprise Ireland Issues Call for Commercialisation Fund Programme

15 May 2020
EI Commercialisation Fund for University Research Teams is now open

The Call for Proposals for the Enterprise Ireland Commercialisation Fund programme is now open.   This is a great programme to advance technolgy ideas that you may have towards commercialisation into useful products.

The aim of the EI Commercialisation Fund Programme is to improve the competitiveness of the Irish economy through the creation of technology based start-up companies and the transfer of innovations developed in Research Performing Organisations to Irish industry.

The programme will fund the development of innovations at all stages of the commercial pipeline to the point where they can be commercialised as new products, services and companies.

The Call will close for Applicants at 3pm on Friday 3rd July 2020.

Applicants who are interested in applying to the Programme are encouraged to engage with UCC Innovation as soon as possible. Our Commercialisation Case Managers work closely with Enterprise Ireland's  Commercialisation team and are on hand to guide you through all stages of  application preparation and submission.

If you are submitting a proposal, please contact Terri Deane [] in UCC RSS and the relevant UCC Innovation Case Manager [Kevin Dalton, Anthony Morrissey or Brendan Curran (contacts page].

UCC Innovation will require sight of your application at least 5 working day prior to the deadline for review. However, our Commercialisation Case Managers are vital to this application, so please ensure you contact them ahead of time.

Working together with UCC Innovation and EI Commercialisation Specialists helps to align applications with the requirements of the Programme.
