Note: The Irish Independent of 29 November 1922 announced that Patrick Healy (aged 30) of High Street in Limerick city had been killed during fighting near Kanturk. The Cork Examiner reported that Healy, ‘who had been operating with the Irregulars in North Cork, was killed in the neighbourhood of Kanturk on Saturday [25 November]. Particulars of the circumstances under which Healy met his death are lacking.’ Healy was unmarried. See CE, 30 Oct. 1922.
