Note: A merchant seaman and marine fireman on the SS Auby lying in Barry Docks at Cardiff, Finn was one of eight civilians who were killed or died of their wounds in the Upton train ambush on 15 February 1921. He died of gunshot wounds at Upton station. Finn had been trained at the Baltimore Fishery School and was travelling there when he met an untimely death at Upton. See CE, 18 Feb. 1921.
