Elaine O’Mahony joined The Quercus Talented Students’ Programme in October 2016. Previous to joining Quercus Elaine worked in the Department of Human Resources at UCC. Elaine completed a BA in Business Studies in CIT and trained to be a personal trainer. She was self-employed for 12 years as a personal trainer and Pilates instructor. She previously worked in an administrative capacity at both Deerpark Christian Brothers School and at St. John’s College in Cork. Elaine provides administrative support to the Quercus Talented Students’ Programme where she is also responsible for webpage administration and Social Media. She also contributes in an outreach capacity, attending schools and open days to promote the Quercus Programme. Elaine is the contact point for Quercus Scholars and for schools and students interested in the Quercus Talented Students’ Programme.
