Patrick Kiely

Since 2011, Patrick has held the position of Technology-Enabled-Learning Co-ordinator in the Office of the Vice-President for Teaching & Learning.

Patrick assists academics at UCC with the design, development and delivery of online and blended learning modules, continuing professional development courses and postgraduate programmes.

He is a member of the Accredited Programmes in Teaching and Learning Higher Education course team and manages the Blackboard modules for the Certificate, Diploma and Master's Degree. He assists academic staff from across the four Colleges with the pedagogically appropriate use of technology to enhance student learning and the achievement of learning outcomes. He is a member of the Resources for Education at UCC project team and is committed to the principles of Universal Design for Learning, Creative Commons and Privacy by Design in online learning and online resource creation.

Patrick sits on various committees in UCC including the Academic Council e-Learning Subcommittee and the IGOG e-Learning Implementation Group.
