On the day

What to expect?

Throughout the day there will be:

  • UCC students and staff available to talk to you about courses and student life
  • Information on student life, scholarships and supports available
  • General Information presentations to find out more about what UCC has to offer you
  • A chance to explore by taking a campus tour

 

Campus Tours

There will be a number of campus tours taking place over the two days (see below for timings and meeting points) but please feel free to explore the campus in your own time if you wish.

Tours will take place at the following times:

10.30am, 12.45pm and 2.30pm

Meeting point: Outside the Visitors Centre, Main Quadrangle, Main Campus (Location Here)

 

General Information Presentations

There are a number of general information talks taking place. The presentations will cover the academic disciplines the University has to offer, new programmes on offer, how to choose the right degree programme for you, entry requirements, university student supports, etc. Each presentation will be approximately 30 minutes in duration and will provide an opportunity to ask questions.

Presentations will be held in the following venues on the dates and times shown below:

Information Stands

Information Stands will open from 9.30am – 2.20pm each day. Staff will be available to talk to you about courses. UCC is organised into four colleges and each of these colleges offer a wide variety of programmes. Explore all your options at https://www.ucc.ie/en/study/undergrad/courses/ . A list of the four colleges and venues where you can find them on the day are outlined below:

College of Arts, Celtic Studies and Social Sciences – Devere Hall, Student Centre (Location Here)

College of Business and Law – Devere Hall, Student Centre (Location Here)

College of Science, Engineering and Food Science – Western Gateway Buiding, Main Foyer (Location Here)

College of Medicine and Health – Aula Maxima, Main Quadrangle, Main Campus (Location Here)

Staff from a number of support services, i.e, Disability Support, Campus Accommodation, Sports, International Education Office will also be available to talk to in Devere Hall, Student Centre.
