Booth 38 - HEAR, DARE and Disability Support Service
Who's in this booth?
Higher Education Access Route (HEAR)
This is a third level alternative admissions scheme which offers places on reduced points and extra college supports to school leavers from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds who are resident in the Republic of Ireland. Come along to this booth to find out if you're eligible or ask questions from the UCC Access team.
DARE and Disability Support Service (DSS)
Our Disability Support Service also provides a third level alternative admissions scheme for school leavers whose disabilities have had a negative impact on their second level education. DARE offers reduced points places to eligible school leavers who, as a result of having a disability, have experienced additional educational challenges in second level education. Come along to this booth to find out about eligibility, or to ask questions of our Disability Support Service staff.
