Recognised School Leaving Qualification(s)

Apolytirion of Lykeiou is acceptable for programmes up to 500 points. For programmes over 500 points, applicants must also present satisfactory results in a cognate subject at end 1st year in a recognised 3rd level institution at a level equivalent to that of the programme applied for.

(NB: Apolytirion of Gymnasio is not acceptable) Prior to 2001, a separate certificate General (University) Entrance Examination was also needed.

10 (scale 0-20 where 20 is best)

Minimum Entry Requirements/Matriculation:

The minimum eligibility criteria follow. Proof of English proficiency is required in all cases. There may also be specific subject requirements for courses.

Level 8 2 H5 required Overall minimum of 16 in Apolytirion with 6 distinct recognised subjects 17 or better

Competence in English Language:

The minimum acceptable level of English is 18.75 in the Apolytirion of Lykeiou or equivalent English Language competence. Note applicants whose school-leaving examinations are more than two years old should present additional proof of English.

For programmes over 500 points, applicants must also present satisfactory results in a cognate subject at the end of 1st year in a recognised 3rd level institution at a level equivalent to that of the programme applied for. 

Single Sitting: All subjects are examined at the same time and points are calculated based on a single sitting.

Bonus points for maths: Not applicable
