This week (Mon 15 May to Sun 21 May) is Cork LGBT+ Awareness Week.
This annual Week traditionally centres around 17 May, International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia.

A number of public bodies and private sector organisations across Cork city and county are flying the Rainbow/Progress Pride flag to mark the Week, including at UCC on the Quad. We’d like to thank the President of UCC for supporting this visible demonstration of solidarity and Pride at UCC.
As part of Cork LGBT+ Awareness Week, the UCC LGBT+ Staff Network will be hosting a Coffee Morning:
- tomorrow, Wednesday 17 May, International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia
- 10.30am-11.30am
- Lucy Smith Room, 4th Floor, Hub
- all staff are welcome
We really hope that we might see some of you there for complimentary coffee & cake, and some chats with your colleagues from the UCC LGBT+ Staff Network. With thanks to the EDI Unit and the Staff Sports & Social Club for funding to allow us to hold events such as this.
