Write Here, Write Now: Academic Writing Saturday Session

To celebrate Academic Writing Month, the Skills Centre will be hosting a Write Here, Write Now: Academic Writing Session! These sessions will allow you to work on your assignments in the Skills Centre classroom, while a tutor will be on hand to answer any of your Academic Writing related questions. On Saturday November 9th, 16th and 23rd from 10am to 1pm, make sure to take advantage of this drop-in zone and get those assignments finished and submitted, no need to book in advance!
Another very high-in-demand session that will be running next week is Time Management, a perfect session to attend with exam season coming up. This session will involve setting clear goals for the division of your time and helping you to break these goals into achievable steps. This workshop will take place on Wednesday 6th of November at 12pm, you can book your place here!
Make sure to register your place in the Science Writing: Lab Reports session going ahead this week! This Science Writing session will go through what is required from scientific lab reports and becoming familiar with using scientific language. This session will take place on Friday the 8th of November at 10am, you can book your place here!
The Calculation Centre for students will be going ahead on usual on Mondays! This is a Maths-related drop-in zone where our tutors Maura & Sarah will be on-hand to address your calculation needs. This drop-in zone is held every Monday at 5pm – 7pm.
