16 Mar 2020

The Skills Centre is delighted to introduce our virtual writing clinic’s to UCC students who would like to avail of our services via the internet!

We are proud to provide a responsive and dedicated service to UCC students. You can now book Skills Centre Virtual Writing Clinics and meet with our tutors face-to-face from the comfort of your home to discuss your academic work via Google Meet. Students have the option to either engage with us synchronously or asynchronously.

The virtual writing clinic will take place through Google Meet. You can pick a time through our booking form, at which you would like a one-to-one video call or voice call with one of our skilled tutors.  If you have any queries please email us at skillscentre@ucc.ie , you can find out more about this new service here!

If you don’t want to meet face-to-face with our tutors but would still like your work to be reviewed, don’t worry, we have got you covered! Our asynchronous writing support service allows UCC students to upload the work they would like reviewed by a tutor at a later point in time. The tutor will review your writing and provide you with some helpful feedback and tips on how you can improve your academic writing structure and style, find out more about it here.

Remember, the Skills Centre is a dedicated learning space intended to help you throughout your academic life in UCC. We know that assignments can be tough and stressful and want to help you succeed and truly #UnlockYOURPotential.
