About Your Account
A personalised UCC Student IT Account is available to all students. If you have difficulty with your account, please see our Frequently Asked Questions section
New Students
If you are new to UCC, your initial Student IT password will have been emailed to you as part of your registration information from the relevant office. You should change this as soon as possible.
What do I use the UCC Student IT Account For?
The Student IT Account is required for used for the following services:
- Logon to MyStudentAdmin
- Logon to Umail
- Logon to Blackboard
- Logon to SmartCard TopUp
- Logon to the Open Access computers
- Using your personal device on the Student Wi-Fi Service - Eduroam
- Internet Printing with U-print
- Personalised Timetables with MyTimetable
- Using Office 365
Password Re-set
If you have forgotten your Student IT Account password you can reset it yourself following these instructions:
- To reset your Student IT Password click here
- Click on Forgot your password and enter yourStudent Number and Secondary Email.
- Then click Send
You will then recieve an email to your secondary email address allowing you to reset your Student IT Password.
Alternatively you can go to the Student IT Helpdesk in the Boole Basement with your student ID card. The staff there will be able to reset the password for you. The Boole Basement open hours are:
