As part of UCC’s Postgraduate Diploma/Masters in Supply Chain Management (Lean SCM Black Belt), student Marie Dunne (National Account Manager Consumer Foods, Kepak Group) has been awarded the Best Lean SCM Black Belt Project Prize for 2015.
The winning project, entitled 'Lean Deployment in EU Slow Cooked Development', seeks to identify new European business opportunities and to mitigate the risks associated with the Kepak Group’s dependence on the UK market.Read more

The College of Business and Law recently held a Presentation of Parchment Ceremony on Friday, 20 November 2015 in Devere Hall, Aras na Mac Leinn, UCC, for all Diploma, Higher Diploma and Postgraduate Diploma students who were conferred ‘In Absentia’ at the Autumn 2015 Conferring Ceremonies.
As part of this Ceremony, 9 students from the Postgraduate Diploma in Supply Chain Management (Lean SCM Black Belt) were presented with their awards.Read more

On Wednesday 1 July, University College Cork (UCC) and The Irish Institute of Purchasing and Materials Management (IIPMM) announced a new collaboration between both Institutions to work together in the area of Procurement and Supply Management. Both Institutions have signed a Memorandum of Understanding that provides for a number of key areas of collaborations including a progression route from the IIPMM Honours Degree in Procurement programme to UCC’s Postgraduate Diploma/Masters in Supply Chain Management (Lean SCM Black Belt) and an annual research programme.Read more

Springboard Funding is to be allocated to up to 36 students across Supply Chain Management programmes, UCC.
An exciting new Government initiative 'Springboard' has been launched to help the unemployed. The scheme will provide fully funded part-time education and training opportunities for people who are unemployed but looking for work while also allowing them to keep any unemployment benefits they are eligible for.Read more
