Supporting Effective Networking for Horizon 2020

A key element of being successful in Horizon 2020, and allied EU research funding programmes, is putting together the best possible consortia with an optimum combination of universities, research organisations and, in particular, SMEs.

In many cases, to establish competitive consortia for specific Horizon 2020 Calls, it is necessary to go outside normal partner networks. To this end, and to support our research community connect with the right partners, UCC is a member of Vision2020, an EU-wide networking platform for research organisations and companies participating in Horizon 2020.

As a member of Vision2020, I am pleased to be able to announce that UCC researchers can now sign-up to Crowdhelix, a new online platform that matches companies and university researchers to collaborate on relevant funding calls and projects. Crowdhelix allows you to post collaboration opportunities, respond to opportunities posted by other organisations, search for specific expertise, and communicate directly with other users.
