Tyndall Researcher honoured by the Optical Society of America

Stefan Andersson-Engels has been elected a Fellow of the Optical Society of America.

The Board of Directors of The Optical Society (OSA) elected Stefan a Fellow of the Society during their 19 October 2016 meeting in Rochester, New York, USA.

Stefan was recognized “For academic, clinical and entrepreneurial contributions in biomedical optics, including techniques for tissue diagnostics and photodynamic therapy.”

As an OSA Fellow, Stefan joins a distinguished group of members who have served the Society and the optics and photonics community with distinction.
