BRAKE Workshops

BRAKE Workshops

  • 23 Mar 2017

UCC Research Support Services (RSS), in collaboration with the University of Maryland (UMD), will host two Workshops focusing on US funding opportunities and associated guidelines/ regulations.

BRAKE - Borderless Research Administration Knowledge Exchange

There are many opportunities for overseas researchers to access US funding but, as US partners are accountable for all funding received by their overseas collaborators, the onus is on them to ensure that these collaborators are compliant with the regulations. This has deterred some US institutions from including overseas collaborators on their grant applications.

To address this, UMD has developed the BRAKE training programme to reduce the risk of non-compliance and make overseas researchers/ institutions aware of opportunities.
